Since I first started creating my Artibles series, I’ve been wanting to make them interactive, to be able to respond to the viewer. Below is my piece Shield, from 2016, which can now move and spin about—ideally, you should see it as a patterned circle.
But more than my other pieces so far, even though I am using standard coding, this one is particularly dependent on the device you use to view it. For example, it works fine in Firefox, Edge or Chrome on a desktop or laptop computer (though not Safari), but it completely falls apart in any browser on an iPhone or iPad.
